CARE HOME

The 64 bed care home design has been reconsidered to create a contemporary and more architecturally interesting, low key and subservient addition to the grounds.

It has been reduced in scale from three to mainly two storeys and is stepped away from the listed building along its southern and western elevations. This approach reduces the impact on the setting of the building and the contemporary design ensures that the building would be clearly distinguishable as a standalone modern addition to the site rather than a replication of historic architecture. This will allow Caversham Park House to stand-out as the centrepiece of the site.
